Southgate Golf Course is one of the courses owned by the City of St. George. It plays much different from front to back as the back nine is much longer with ascending and descending fariways. The front nine has also been remodelled through the early years of 2000. The back has stayed the same featuring 3 par 5's for plenty of birdie chances coming in!
Southgate is not necessarily the course that one would recommend to the avid golfer. However, Southgate has one of the best driving ranges in St. George! Even the avid players will go to Southgate to practice. Southgate offers decent balls, mats, and grass hitting surfaces, and more.
For the junior player, Southgate Golf Course is the place to be! For the beginner and junior player, Southgate offers 18 holes is needed, all the practice amenities, and it is very affordable. There truly is a place for this golf course among the golf courses in St. George, Utah.
