Desert Hills High School Desert Hills is the new high school in southern Utah. Desert Hill's mascot is Thor the Norse god of thunder. This is Desert Hills first year. On Friday, November 16, 2007 the UHSAA voted to accept DHHS as a 3A school in Region 9. It will join Cedar, Hurricane, and Canyon View in the 3A portion of the region. The remaining three schools; Snow Canyon, Dixie, and Pine View, make up the 4A portion of the division.
