St George Utah the Hot Spot
St. George, Utah is one of the West’s hot spots and is southern Utah’s largest city. It is set between red rock cliffs and lava flow hills in the southwest desert of Utah. Its a haven during the winter weather and attracts a large number of “snowbirds” from northern Utah, who stay for extended periods in the winter while their neighbors back home in the snow. St. George, “Utah’s Dixie” is known for the area where the summer sun spends the winter.s
St. George has historical buildings, golf courses for every pocket book and plenty of shopping centers. Located nearby are Snow Canyon State Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, and Zion National Park, all within 40 miles. Recreational activities of a different sort are also available at the casinos in Mesquite, Nevada just a short drive through the scenic Virgin River Gorge.
